C.        Treasurers Report

Richard Ralston reported:

D.        Open Issues

Continuing the DCC discussions, the MRC system has nice features but the cost of doing wireless is prohibitive.  As with Digitrax and NCE the expenditure would be $600 - $900.  The Lenz system utilizes inexpensive cordless phones and would cost under $450.  A motion was made, seconded and approved to acquire the Lenz 100, 3 XPA’s and 3 telephones.  Scott Crites will shop for best price.

The UP Museum show is still slated for August 3rd & 4th.  Set up is the 2nd at 4:00 PM.

Francis McGovern stated the NEIA Railroaders thanked us for participating in their show.

E.         New Business

Mike Hoskins created a drawing depicting the Omaha skyline as a possible logo for the club.  The consensus was there needs to be more of a railroad theme.  Mike will work on some more ideas.

We have two new members, Warren Mattox and Ethan Hoskins, youth member.  Welcome!
